Mount Disk Image

Mount Disk Image allows you to work with a specific disk image file as a virtual device. The application supports VMware virtual disks, VirtualPC disks, ISO image files, and any image in RAW format (sector-by-sector copy).

To mount (open) Disk Image:

  1. Launch Mount Disk Image dialog in one of the following ways:
    • From the toolbar click Mount Disk Image... button;
    • Use command File > Mount Disk Image... from main menu;
  2. Select Disk Image file name and other options
    Disk Image file name
    Full path to the location of disk image file
    Caption (Display name)
    Enter any label to distinguish newly opened (mounted) disk image among other devices and disks or use default (generated) Disk Image name.
    Auto-load mounted Disk Image when application starts
    Use this options to auto load mounted disk images each time when application starts.
  3. Open Disk Image

    Click OK to confirm and open a Disk Image.

If a disk image has been mounted and opened successfully, the disk image node appears in Disk Explorer.
