System Requirements

Active@ KillDisk is designed to run with the following minimum requirements:

Workstation:

• PC x64 (64-bit) compatible computer;
• Intel/AMD processor;
• 2 GB of RAM;
• 100 MB of free disk space.

Video:

• VGA (1024x768) resolution or better.

Operating Systems:

• Windows 10 or higher;
• Linux Kernel 2.x or later (all Linux family: Ubuntu, Debian etc.);

Drive Storage:

• Compact Disc (CD)/DVD/Blu-ray optical drive (for applicable boot disk features);
• USB flash drive 1.0/2.0/3.0/3.1/3.2 storage device (for applicable boot disk features);
• Disk types supported:
  • Hard disk drive(HDD) via Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE), AT Attachment (ATA), SATA I, SATA II, SATA III, SAS;
  • Solid-state drive (SSD) via SATA I, SATA II, SATA III, SAS;
  • External SATA (eSATA) and USB disks;
  • SCSI and iSCSI devices;
  • Onboard M.2 (SATA and PCI-E types);
  • Removable media (USB drive, MemoryStick, SD card, Compact Flash, Zip Drive).

Active@ KillDisk supports all drives visible by the OS with read/write access, additional drivers can be loaded onto the boot disk for drivers not included by default in the bootable environment.
