Disk Batches
Disk Batches are used to organize Disk Bays into groups to perform scripted task sequences, such as:
- Disk Examination,
- Disk Erase,
- Disk Wipe
- and Disk Clone
and possible combination of any above including additional actions like Erase Certificates or Disk Labels for instance. Disk Bays can be added or removed from the Batch at any time.
Once disks are batched together they may be treated as a group and similar settings applied for the group. Likewise, operations may be performed on these batches - initiating any operation on a batch performs the operation on all the disks in the batch.
Each Disk Bay can only belong to one Disk Batch. If it is assigned to a different Disk Batch, it will be automatically removed from its current Disk Batch.
To have an access to Disk Batch functionality use Disk Bays View. Individual Disk Batch can be opened and managed in separate Disk Batch View.
Use Batch Control tool view to manage all declared Disk Batches.
