If a single disk is selected to perform the task, the exact area for erasure can be optionally specified on the Disk Area Selection page. Otherwise, use the Selected Disks page to adjust disk or partition selection.

  3. Execute task

Click the Start button to proceed to the final Confirm Critical Actions dialog. This is an additional precautionary measure. If you proceed with confirmation, all data on the selected disk(s) or selected disk area will be destroyed permanently without any possibility of recovery.

Depending on settings, this dialog can be skipped.

After starting the erase operation, a progress bar is displayed in the disk area. The progress bar represents the percentage of disk space being sanitized. As the procedure progresses, the percentage increases and the time remaining is recalculated.

You can terminate processing for all disks at once by clicking the Stop All button (via the action toolbar, main menu, or context menu) or for individual disks by selecting the disk and clicking Stop.

After the process finishes, each disk will be highlighted with the overall result (Success, Failed, Canceled, etc.) displayed at the top of the disk in different colors.

By default, Processing Summary dialog will appear with detailed information of erasure results for each disk, including complete task attributes, log etc.
