Move to MFT Record

Use the Navigate button in the Command bar to navigate to the disk system records of a Logical drive.

For NTFS volumes, the navigation menu will have following access points:

Boot Sector
Use this to navigate to the Boot Sector.
Boot Sector Copy
Use this to navigate to the Boot Sector Copy.
$MFT or MFT records (Master File Table)
Use this to navigate to the Master File Table file.
$MFT Mirror
Use this to navigate to the mirror of the MFT file.
File record №...
Use this to navigate to an arbitrary MFT record. You can enter an arbitrary or a required record number in the Go to MFT Record dialog. To do this, click on the Navigate > MFT №... button in the Command bar.

The access points, when used, automatically select a corresponding template. For example, if a boot sector access point is selected, a boot sector template is applied to the boot sector offset.
